Hi Shirley,
The list of businesses who accept Monona Moola has been updated. It is true Ken’s and Cousin’s Subs have decided not to accept the coupons due to the inconvieniance of handeling the coupons and their bookkeeping systems. We also have several new particpants that are not listed on the back of the bills. This is one reason we put the expiration dates on them, so we can reprint with current lists of participants. The current Moola is marked expires November 2011, but it will still be accepted at participating merchants after that date, just as the coupons that expired in June 2011 can still be used. We will be reissuing new moola with up dated information in November.

Please update who is still taking Monona Moola. Ken’s is not taking it anymore–we learned this after buying a lot. Also, the moola says it expires in Nov. 2011. Is this true?

Monona Moola is again available at Monona State Bank and WPS Community Bank.

Thanks to dedicated Monona shoppers Monona Moola has sold $70,000 worth of $5 coupons! This is far more than we expected and thus the funds to cover the 20% (Purchase for $4, spend and redeem at $5) has been far exceeded. We are fund raising and every time we reach $1000 in donations we issue $5000 in Mooola. We are fundraising and hope to have additional moola available soon. Thank you for your dedication to Monona businesses and for your understanding!

Thanks for your input Gail. You are right the last part is “left turn lane” the total meaning is “two way left turn lane.” The idea behind it was to get people talking. I guess it worked because several people have asked “what does twltl mean?” Thank you for shopping on Monona Drive, our local businesses appreciate it!

Question re: waterbottle. I recieved a very nice bright blue water bottle today in the snow by my mailbox. I read the blurb on the bottle and the papers in the bottle. I do some of my shopping on Monona Drive.. lot of good shops to choose from. That said, I have a question: what does “TWLTL” stand for? I’m guessing based on what I read that the last part is “left turn lane”, but I’m stymied by the rest. Consider spelling it out in any future marketing pieces that you do. Best of Luck!

The list of participating merchants has a notation “You can also purchase Moola here” next to the locations where you can buy Monona Moola. Please check back often, because this is a growing list of participants and sale locations.

Why can’t I find out where to buy the Money Moola on this website? If this is an ongoing campaign, I respectfully suggest that you make it easier for folks to obtain the Moola.
